Employee's Idea Saves Millions of Gallons of Water

Phoenix, AZ -- Arizona American Water Senior Plant Operator John Lulewicz and his coworkers found a new way to reduce excessive water consumption and costs by more than 50%. The operations team utilized the Watts Big Bubba water reuse filters for internal industrial use at the waste water treatment plant at the Northwest Valley Reclamation facility that serves customers in Sun City West, Peoria, and north Phoenix.

This is what Governments are supposed to be supporting. There has been a lot of good inventions that has been found by regular workers or people but the Government is not supporting them. I wonder why though. Something that I learned with my wastewater treatment training is that local gov seem to always go for international products or services without utilizing their own. Wonder why>
